KATHLEEN DePASQUALE

Kathleen Ann DePasquale, 77, of St. Clairsville, OH, passed away peacefully Friday, July 3, 2020, at Wheeling Hospital. She was born March 7, 1943, and is the daughter of the late Frank and Creola Perko, where she was raised in Lansing, OH.

Upon graduating Bridgeport High School, she was a waitress at Stone and Thomas Tea Room. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in St. Clairsville, OH, and a former member of the Bridgeport Eagles, OVMC Ladies Auxiliary, and the Carnation Twig.

She was preceded in death by brothers Kenneth, Harry, and Richard Perko and sister Arlene Matusek.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years Carmelo F. DePasquale; daughters Kathleen M. Vivod (Bill) of St. Clairsville, OH, and Kimberly M. Kasler (Michael Baker) of Murfreesboro, TN, and son Frederick M. DePasquale (Justina) of Toronto, OH; grandchildren Preston DePasquale, Brian Vivod (Marissa), Mario Makris (Jen), Anthony DePasquale (Amber), Alessia Vivod, and Nicholas Makris; great grandchildren Geno and Vinny DePasquale and Eliana Makris; and brothers Frank Perko (Mary Ann), Ray Perko, and Timothy Perko (Sharon).

She devoted her life to all of her family and enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, and decorating. She will be remembered for her love, generosity, and giving spirit.

“God saw she was getting tired and a cure was not to be found. So He put his arms around her and whispered, ‘Come with Me.’

“With tearful eyes we watched her suffer and saw her fade away. Although we love her dearly, we could not make her stay.”

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing and facial coverings will be required during a visitation to be held in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Clairsville on Tuesday, July 7, from 10:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 11:30 a.m. with Father Thomas Chillog the Celebrant. Entombment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling, West Virginia. Arrangements entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home.
