Kathleen Ann Gazdik, 78, of Barton, OH died peacefully at Liza’s Place on July 25, 2020. She was born May 6, 1942 in Wheeling, WV, daughter of the late Paul and Katherine (Karalinas) Gunsorek of Adena, OH.

She is survived by her loving husband, Stephen J. Gazdik, and sons, Joseph (Desiree) Gazdik and Jeff (Cara) Gazdik of St. Clairsville. Kathleen adored her grandchildren, Alex (fiancÈe Shaylah), Andrew, and Emma Gazdik. Also surviving are siblings, Dorothy (William) Soos, Richard and John (Kim) Gunsorek, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, John and Anna Marie Gdula, and many nieces and nephews.

Kathleen was the former co-owner of Klean Sweep Cleaning Company of St. Clairsville, Oh and a former employee of WHLL and WOMP radio stations. She was a social member of the Barton Volunteer Fire Department, TOPS of St. Clairsville and St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church and the Catholic Women’s Club.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing and facial coverings will be required for both the Mass on Thursday and during the Visitation on Wednesday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville with a Vigil Service held at 1:30 p.m. and Barton VFD Service at 7 p.m.

Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 11 a.m. in St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Colerain with Father Timothy McGuire and Father John Mucha the concelebrants. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens.
