Richard Mitchell

Richard A. “Ricky” Mitchell, II, 58, resident of Wheeling, WV, died Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born in Wheeling on December 1, 1961, son of the late Richard A. Mitchell and Marjorie A. Moesinger Mitchell. He was an Army veteran and a Christian by faith. Ricky was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all. He loved doing lawn work and helping others. He is survived by his three sons, Richard A. Mitchell, III, Travis L. Mitchell and Cody A. Mitchell; three grandchildren, Richard A. Mitchell, IV, Gabriel Robert Mitchell and Kadien Mitchell; four sisters, Pamela A. Obyc (Rick), Terri Mitchell, Brenda L. Smith and Michele L. Lee (Rod); his loving companion, Melanie Aquilino; several nieces and one nephew; several great-nieces and great-nephews; special friends, Mark and Janie. Friends will be received at Kepner Funeral Home, 3545 Jacob Street, Wheeling, WV 26003 (304-232-4060) on Monday, July 6, 2020 from noon-2 pm and 4 pm until time of service at 6 pm with Pastor Brandon White officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Youth Services System, 87-15th Street, Wheeling, WV 26003.
