BERDIE WEST

She was born March 30, 1934 in Little River, SC, the daughter of the late Joe and Iler Burnett Suggs.

For over 38 years, Mrs. West was the Dietary Supervisor at the Bellaire Hospital, a member of the Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall, St. Clairsville, OH, and a volunteer at COAD.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Leon West, one brother, two sisters.

Surviving are her children, Robert West and Kevin (Lisa) West of Bellaire; Suggnetta (James) Crawford of N. Myrtle Beach, SC; Dorcella (J.B.) Washington of Columbus, OH; 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 1 great- great grandchild.

Family will receive friends on Thursday from 10am until time of Memorial Service at 11am at the Grisell Funeral Home, 400 33rd. St., Bellaire, with John Long officiating.

Private Interment will be held by the family in Holly Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Colerain, OH.

Memorial contributions can be made to Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall, St. Clairsville.
