DORIS J. KOVACS

Doris J. Kovacs, 95, of Flushing, Ohio died October 12, 2020 in the Harrison County Home.

She was born November 23, 1924 in Flushing, Ohio, daughter of the late Charles Fuller and Velma White Fuller.

Doris was a homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her sons and grandchildren. She was a former member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Flushing and current member of Assumption Catholic Church in Barnesville. She also enjoyed yard sales.

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest “EK” Kovacs; a daughter-in-law, Betty Ann Kovacs; two brothers, Albert Fuller Sr. and Charles Milburn; and a sister, June Bell.

Surviving are her three sons, Patrick (Susan) Kovacs, Kenny (Cheryl) Kovacs and Rodney “Hutch” (Karen) Kovacs; eight grandchildren, Patrick (Lori) Kovacs, Jamie (Kim) Kovacs, Terri (Jay) Rogers, Matt (Shannon) Kovacs, Joe (Natalie) Kovacs, Rob (Michelle) Kovacs, Jodi (James) Journey and Dan (Suzanne) Kovacs; twenty- four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Private visitation and service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Rock Hill Cemetery, Flushing, Ohio. Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.
