JANET E. GAIDOS

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Gaidos and brother, Butch Carpenter.

All the beautiful memories made together will be cherished by those who are survived by Janet; her mother, Hazel Powell Saffell of Barnesville; daughter, Sherri (John) Lontz of Flushing; sons, Michael (Valarey) Emory of Florida, Craig (Kimberly) Emory of Quaker City; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, sister, Karen Saffell of North Carolina; brothers, John Saffell of Kansas and Tom Saffell of Virginia; and her best friends and loyal companions, her three dogs and two horses.

Janet loved animals and shared a heartful connection with each of them. Her horses brought essential joy with their grace, beauty, and spirit. Her dogs shared their loyalty, unconditional love, and companionship. She was a member of the Bitts and Bridle Saddle Club and enjoyed playing the bass guitar, sharing its beautiful melody. Most of all, Janet adored her family. Each of them held a very special place in her heart, bringing her more joy than she ever expected.

Honoring Janet’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation will take place and interment will be held at a later date with her family.
