KATHERINE BROWN

She was born January 6, 1924 in Wheeling, WV the daughter of the late Rev. Daniel and Rev. Julia Davis Reed.

She was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church; Catholic Daughters of America; Catholic Women’s Club; and Order of Eastern Star.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Brown; two daughters, Francine Brady and Charlotte Allison; a sister, Lilly Wallace; two brothers, Amos Baxter, and Daniel Reed, Jr.; three grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a step-child, Jim Brown.

Survivors include two sons, Charles (Jackie) Brown of Cleveland, OH, and Howard (Paula) Brown of Atlanta, GA; a step-child, Mary Charles) McCants of Cleveland, OH; grandchildren; great- grandchildren, great- great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services and Interment will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Bellaire.
