MARY ANN KOMINSKY

Mary Ann Kominsky, 89, of Blaine, OH passed away November 12, 2020 in Martins Ferry at her daughter’s home.

She was born January 14, 1931, in Lansing, OH, a daughter of the late Frank and Jennie (Trykowski) Bodnar.

Mary Ann was retired from the Belmont County Auditor’s Office, was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wolfhurst where she belonged to the C.W.C. She loved cooking and baking for her friends and family and was an avid bingo player.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Emil Kominsky; siblings, Frank Bodnar Jr., Betty Jane Ducker, Ben Bodnar, and Frances Josefczyk.

Mary Ann is survived by her children, Bob Kominsky of Blaine, Debbie (Mike) Cooper of Martins Ferry, Brenda (Donnie) Britton of Bridgeport; sister, Josephine Miller of Lansing; grandchildren, Kylie (Adam) Pennell, Sean Britton, Mallory Cooper, and Emily Kominsky; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Saturday, November 14 at Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Bridgeport from 9 a.m. until time of mass at 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wolfhurst with Fr. John Mucha serving as celebrant. Interment to follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.

Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, mask and social distancing are required.
