ALBERT JEFFERS JR.

He was born April 12, 1948 in Bellaire, Ohio, a son of the late Albert Russell Jeffers Sr. and Minerva Leona Goldsmith Jeffers.

Albert was a retired employee of Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel. He graduated from Bellaire High School in 1967 and went on to serve in the U.S. Army Paratroopers 82nd Airborne during the Vietnam War. Albert was a member of the Glencoe American Legion Post 632 and enjoyed playing pool.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Carol and his brothers, John and Charles.

Surviving are his loving wife, Janice Sue Waterman Jeffers; a daughter, Susie Lynn Jeffers; a son, Albert Russell “Rusty” Jeffers III; two brothers, Roger and Michael Jeffers; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, social distancing and facial coverings will be required during the visitation and services. Family and friends will be received on Monday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg, Ohio, where services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m., with Wayne Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Warnock Cemetery.
