SANDRA BITTENGLE

She was born on November 17, 1940, to the late Joseph and June Sidlow.

Sandra is survived by her husband of 61 years, Robert Bittengle, her daughter, Syndee (Steve) Robinson of Cincinnati, Ohio, her son, Lee Bittengle of Naples, Florida, as well as her sister, Sherrill (Joe) Matoskia of Shadyside, Ohio.

She spent much of her life enjoying her three granddaughters, Elisabeth (Jerry) Stockley of Bentonville, Arkansas, Anna Robinson of Chicago, Illinois and Caroline (Joe) Trutie of Minneapolis, Minnesota and spending time with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews over the years. Sandra had many friends and loved being a member of her card club playiny Canasta. She also loved the sun and sand and would never pass up the chance for a beach vacation. After raising her children to adulthood and seeing them graduate from The Ohio State University, she decided to join the workforce. She worked several years at the Northern Division Court in Martins Ferry and several more at the Eastern Division Court in Bellaire. Sandra loved life and everyone in it. She will be greatly missed.

Celebration of Sandra’s life will be held at a later date at the Lincoln Avenue United Methodist Church.
