ROBERT BAKER
On the morning of July 24, 2021 ,Robert “Bugsy” Baker passed away at Poinciana Medical Center in Poinciana, Florida as a result of complications due to severe pneumonia coupled with emphysema at the age of 65.
Robert was born in Martins ferry, Ohio on July 7, 1956. He was the third child of John L and Jacqueline,(Wilson) Baker. Although raised in Ohio, Robert lived in Kissimmee, Florida at the time of his passing.
He worked at Hilton Grand Vacations in Orlando, Florida as an exemplary employee racking up many awards for outstanding salesmanship. Generous to a fault, Robert was always there for anyone in need whether it be emotional or financial. Above all, he cherished family unconditionally and would always be the first to support them in their endeavors. He especially like to gather around and talk with his many friends and family. Even those who were not close by, he would reach out by phone to make sure he kept in touch. Overall he kept himself available and to quote his favorite line ” It is what it is”.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers John Baker Jr, and Terry Baker; his stepdaughter Kendra Simmons, and his nep- hew Cameron Baker.
Robert is survived by his wife Tracie Baker, stepchildren Kenneth Stoffle of Kissimmee, Florida and Kea and her husband Wes Mullis of Winter Haven, Florida; brothers Don and his wife Terri Baker of Bridgeport Ohio, Ron and his wife Darlene Baker of Lansing Ohio, and James and his wife Cynthia Baker of Killeen, Texas; sisters Ruth and her husband Larry Davies of Bridgeport, Ohio, Malynda McDonnell of Bellaire, Ohio, and his sister-in-law Laura Baker; ten grand- children and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be a small private gathering in Kissimmee, Florida.
