ANNA RIGGENBACH

She was born near Antioch, Ohio on July 7, 1931 a daughter of the late William and Bertha Leasure Ritchie.

Anna was a homemaker and attended the former Locust Grove United Methodist Church near Sardis, Ohio. She was a former 4-H leader in Monroe County, Ohio for 25 + years. She enjoyed quilting, cooking and being a farmer’s wife.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer W. Riggenbach on March 17, 2005; an infant son Wilford Riggenbach; a daughter, Doris Mehler; two sisters, Carol Busche and Shirley Jowers; two brothers, Dwight and William Ritchie.

Surviving are one daughter Berneta (John) Minger of New Matamoras, Ohio, two sons Leslie (Pam) Riggenbach of Adena, Ohio, Gary (Diane) Riggenbach of New York. One sister Betty Brown of Derwent, Ohio, one brother Joe Ritchie of Sardis, Ohio, 4 grandchildren, Denzil Minger, Deanna Minger, Jani Perdok and Zac Riggenbach. Ten great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Watters Funeral Home, 37501 State Route 78 West, Woodsfield, Ohio from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, September 18, 2021 where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, September 19, 2021 with Rev. Barry Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery near Sardis, Ohio.
