GROVER “ED” BROWN

Grover Edgar ‘Ed’ Brown, 84, of Rayland, OH, formerly of Rush Run, passed away Sunday Oct. 10, 2021, in the Carriage Inn of Steubenville.

Ed was born July 18, 1937, in Rush Run, son of the late Grover Fredrick and Dixie Marie (Faulkner) Brown.

Ed was retired from the Labor Local #809 in Steubenville. After his retirement, Ed became a cross country truck driver, which he really enjoyed.

He was an avid Cleveland Brown’s Fan. Anyone who attended the Jefferson Co. Fair, would have been transported by Ed on the fair wagon, which he loved driving and seeing everyone.

In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by an infant son, Brian and his brother, Paul ‘Boots’ Brown.

Surviving is his daughter, Rhonda (Len) Corona of Smithfield, OH; son, Mark (Marie) Brown of NC; four grandchildren, Lenny (Carla) Corona, Alexandra (Mike) Macatangay, Hunter Brown, Hayden Brown and his two great-grandchildren, Nick and Ryan.

Ed’s wishes were to be cremated with no services observed. His arrangements are in the care of the J.E. Foster Funeral Home in Smithfield, OH. www.jefosterfh.com
