IRENE COUTURE
Irene J. Couture, 89, of St. Clairsville, OH, died Friday, December 17, 2021, at her home.
She was born August 3, 1932 in Holton, ME, a daughter of the late Hershel William and Faye Lillian Truthworthy Duley. She was a homemaker and a member of Centre Wheeling Fellowship Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond M. Couture; two sons, Ronnie Couture and Kenneth Couture; a daughter, Diane Nagy; five brothers; six sisters.
Surviving are her children, Richard Couture and Perry Couture both of St. Clairsville, Brad Couture of Maryland; a daughter, Darlene Rose of Columbus, OH; Luran Williams, whom she considered her daughter; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; one brother.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville, with funeral services on Wednesday at 10 a.m. with Pastor Terry Ensley officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.
