STANLEY “STICK” KOLANSKI
Stanley Jude “Stick” Kolanski, 67, of Flushing, Ohio, died January 22, 2022, at his home.
He was born June 5, 1954, in Wheeling, West Virginia, a son of the late Stanley John Kolanski and Anna Elizabeth Haberny Kolanski.
Stanley had attended Point Park University in Pittsburgh and was a member of the Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity. He was an employee of R.M. Wilson Co. of Wheeling and a Catholic by faith. Stick enjoyed camping, sports, and cooking with his smoker.
Surviving are his loving wife, Ruth Ellen Zavacky Kolanski; a sister, Pam Ambrose; a brother, Tony (Char) Kolanski; mother-in-law, Kathryn Zavacky; five nieces, Natalie Kolanski, Lynette (Jon) DeBertrand, Janelle (Tony) Nardo, Denise (Rob) Kesel, and Darla (Bron) Zavacky-Stadheim; two great nephews, a great niece and many cousins.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Lafferty. Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home.
