DONNA SWALLOW
Donna Lee Swallow, 87, of Beallsville passed away, Monday, May 23, 2022 in the Arbors at Woodsfield. She was born October 5, 1934 near Alledonia, a daughter of the late Karl and Charlotte Allietta Saffield.
Donna was a member of the former Beallsville United Methodist Church, the former Chapter #24, OES, and also a member of the former Pythian Sisters Lodge of Beallsville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Swallow on December 31, 2009; also by a brother, Eugene Saffield on May 6, 1985.
Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Mark (Joan) Swallow and Jan (Rosalea) Swallow, six grandchildren, Alyssa (Adam) Ackerman, Amy Swallow, Abby Swallow, Austin Swallow, Elaina Swallow, and Westin Swallow; two great grandchildren, Adalynn and August Ackerman; also two nephews, Tom Ricer and Terry (Jenny) Ricer who made their home with Donna Lee and her husband, Bill.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 27 from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville where funeral services will be held Saturday, May 28 at 11am with Pastor Jean Cooper officiating. Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery. Eastern Star services will be conducted by Chapter #268, OES at 7:30pm Friday at the funeral home.
