OLGA LUKACSKO

Olga Lukacsko, 83, of Fairpoint, Ohio, died May 30, 2022, in Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling, WV.

She was born July 6, 1938, in Maynard, Ohio, a daughter of the late Walter and Sophia Vicker Oboy.

Olga was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in St. Clairsville and former member of St. Joseph’s Church in Fairpoint, where she was active in the Catholic Women’s Club. Olga was also a member of the Fairpoint Polish Club and the Maynard PNA #455.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Mary Yudasz, Geneva Piwkowski, Irene Balog, and Ann Luginskie; and two brothers, Anthony Oboy and John Oboy.

Olga is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, James M. “Jim” Lukacsko; two sons, Michael Lukacsko of Chicago, Illinois and Jason (Amanda) Lukacsko of Delaware, Ohio; a daughter, Michelle (Mark) Chini of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Carli Chini, Brenden Chini, Lucas Chini, Sophia Lukacsko, and Austin Lukacsko; two brothers, Joseph Oboy of Maynard and Edward (Ellen) Oboy of Bellaire; a sister, Stella Zavacky of Midway; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. with a Vigil Services at 2 p.m. followed by a PNA Service.

Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in St. Clairsville on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. with Father Thomas Chillog as the celebrant. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery in St. Clairsville.

Memorial contributions can be made in Olga’s honor to Shriners Children’s Hospital or St. Jude Children’s Research hospital.
