EILEEN DELANEY
Eileen G. Delaney, 93, of Barnesville, OH., passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Emerald Pointe Nursing Home. She was born September 24, 1928 in York Township, Belmont County, a daughter of the late William and Eulah Mary Baker Kanzig.
Eileen was a retired employee of the former A&P food markets of Bellaire and Weirton, WV and a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church of St. Clairsville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Delaney in 2022; a son, Gary Guthrie; siblings, Raymond Kanzig, Margaret Williams and Lester Kanzig.
Surviving are her sisters, Lenora Kocher of Alliance, OH., Stella (Clarence) Johnson of Louisville, OH and Hazel Brown of Wheeling, WV; a granddaughter, Kaylyn Guthrie of Philadelphia, PA; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1 pm at Belmont County Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Clairsville with Chaplin Kris Bright officiating.
