JOSEPH “JOE” SPEARS
Joseph “Joe” S. Spears, 58, of Dillonvale, OH, passed away on September 8, 2022 at Sienna Hills Nursing & Rehabilitation Center of Adena, OH.
He was born on September 15, 1963 to Steve and Betty (Vomocil) Spears in Martins Ferry, OH.
Most recently, Joe worked for the State of Ohio in the Claims’ Department. Joe has previously worked for Lowes as a Manager and for Sherman Williams.
Joe was a Dillonvale Eagle Member and a previous member of the Dillonvale Fireman’s Club. Joe enjoyed golfing.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Spears.
In addition to his father, Joe is survived by his ex-wife, Julia Cahill, of Dillonvale, OH, sister, Tina Rae Spears, of Yorkville, OH, 2 step-children, 4 grand children, 1 great-grand child, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
