WILLIAM GREEN
William “Bill” Dale Green, 73, of Shadyside went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 23, 2022, at WVU Medicine Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling, West Virginia.
He was born June 23, 1949 in Bellaire, Ohio a son of the late Joseph and Mary Elizabeth (Copeland) Green.
Bill was a Christian by faith, having attended the Martins Ferry First Christian Church and the Shadyside First Christian Church. He was a United States Army Veteran and a member of the Shadyside American Legion Post 521. Bill retired from Bellaire Harbor where he worked as a welder. He enjoyed retirement and spending time with his family on the farm.
Surviving are his loving wife, Rose Green; children, Brian (Nicole) Green and Stephanie Green of Canal Fulton, Ohio, and Joseph (Aubrey) Green of Shadyside, Ohio; brother, Joseph H. Green of Georgia; grandchildren, Emily, Issac, Ava, Isabella, Josiah, and Levi; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In accordance with Bill’s wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements by Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3900 Central Avenue Shadyside, OH 43947.
