BARBARA WENSYEL
Barbara A. (Orr) Wensyel, 80 of Martins Ferry passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown, WV. She was born January 9, 1942, the daughter of the late Paul E. and Anna C. (Johnston) Orr
Barbara was the head cook and dietary manager for the Martins Ferry City Schools, and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Martins Ferry.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald J. Wensyel in May, and brother James A. Orr.
Left to cherish her memory are her children; Laurie (Patrick) Henry of Wheeling, Jason (Erica) Wensyel of Mississippi and Ashley D. Wensyel of St. Clairsville, grandchildren; Catie, P.J., Paul, Parker and Wyatt, great- grandchildren; Cam, Luca and Enzo, Patrick and Finnegan.
The family will be hosting a “Celebration of Life” in memory of Barbara on Saturday, October 22, 2022, from 12 to 2 at the Vigilant Fire House, 901 Pearl St., Martins Ferry, OH.
