JASON SHARP
Jason Duane (J-Bird and Porky) Sharp, age 38, of 73745 Repik Lane, Freeport (Guernsey County) died unexpectedly at home Sunday, October 23, 2022.
Born August 9, 1984 in Wheeling, West Virginia; He was a son of Duane “Tom” Thomas Sharp and Lori Ann Markovich Sharp of Piedmont.
Jason was a 2003 graduate of Buckeye Trail High School and he was in the Carpenter’s Union #285.
He loved to ride four-wheelers, have loud cars, and drive fast. What he loved the most was spending time with his family. Jason was very down to earth, who always made everyone he was around laugh. He will be deeply missed and was loved by many.
Preceding him in death are his Grandmother Peggy Markovich, Grandfather Stanley “Butch” Markovich, Grandmother Ethel Garrett, Grandfather Edward Arigoni, and Brother Thomas “TJ” Sharp.
Surviving is his wife of 10 years, Amanda Nicole Rankin Sharp. They were married March 23, 2012.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is also survived by his two sons, Kowan Sharp and Ayden Sharp of the home; five sisters: Duanna (James) Greathouse of Piedmont, Jessica (Jake) Robey of Kimbolton, Karlee Sharp of Piedmont, Morgan Sharp of Piedmont, and Nicole Sharp of Barnesville; a brother, Edward Sharp of Barnesville; his very special aunt, Debra (Daryl) Yancey of Virginia; cousin, Jacqueline Fox of Virginia; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, all who loved and adored him.
Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 5 to 8 on Thursday, November 3, 2022 in Koch Funeral Home, 216 S High Street, Freeport. Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 P.M. noon on Friday, November 4, 2022 with Pastor Maggie Hoder officiating. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery, Kirkwood Township Cemetery, Hendrysburg, Ohio.
