THOMAS BELL JR.

Tom was born on November 16, 1930, in Tiltonsville, OH, to the late Tom and Isabella (Richardson) Bell Sr.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Chieko (Kita) Bell; two sons, John and Andrew Bell; a brother, John Bell; and two sisters, Mary Violet and infant sister, Evelyn Bell.

Tom served in the United States Navy for four years and The United States Air Force for 16 years. He was employed at National Cash Register, in Cambridge, OH. After moving to Hawaii, he was employed at the Pearl Harbor Shipyard, for 10 years.

Tom was a member of the VFW, Yorkville and The Indian Club. He enjoyed sitting on his front porch talking to people as they passed his house, he never knew a stranger. Tom also raised and lowered his flag every day, he was very proud of his country. Tom also loved spending time with his family and making time for hunting and fishing.

Tom is survived by his son, Lowell Bell; daughter in-law, (Mandy Wright), of Tiltonsville, OH; six grandchildren, Christina Bell, Justin Ellison, Logan Bell, Blake Miller, Lance Bell and Chase Bell; two great-grandchildren, Christopher and Xavier Smith; his stepson, Al (Valerie) Stover; daughter in-law, Patti Ellison; and son in-law, Charlie Ellison.

Friends will be received to pay tribute to Tom and celebrate his life on Monday, October 31, from 2-8 p.m., at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsvile, OH.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, 11 a.m., November 1, at the funeral home, with Pastor Jim Monogioudis officiating.

Full Military Services will be conducted by The Belmont County Honor Guard at Holly Memorial Gardens.
