CHERI MOZINGO

Cheri was born October 6, 1948, the daughter of the late Frank and Elena (Tremoulis) Malinoski. She was also preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bill and Helen Mozingo.

Cheri married the love of her life and best friend, Keith, on October 18, 1969. Keith and Cheri loved each other unconditionally, and lived by their vows “in sickness and in health” as together they dealt with the illness that Cheri lived with for more than half her life. Cheri loved her family dearly. The lights of her life were her two grandchildren, Sean and Erin.

The one thing Cheri loved other than her family was being a cosmetologist. She was an amazing stylist and many of her customers became good friends. The hardest thing she had to do was stop working due to her illness.

Cheri loved to laugh, loved to dance, loved Elvis Presley, and absolutely loved to Polka! Cheri and Keith were even crowned “Polka King and Queen” in the late 70s.

Cheri is survived by her loving husband, Keith, daughter, Annmarie (Kevin) O’Grady, grandchildren Sean and Erin O’Grady, and her fur baby, Frankie.

There will be no visitation. Arrangements are entrusted to Care Funeral & Cremation Specialists in St. Clairsville, Ohio.

Cheri’s family will have a Polka Party as a Celebration of Life at a later date in 2023.
