EDNA STEELE
Edna E. Steele, 96, of Bellaire Ohio passed away surrounded by her loving family on Monday afternoon, October 31, 2022 at her home
She was born February 10, 1926 in Temperanceville, Ohio a daughter of the late Patrick and Bertha (McLaughlin) McCort.
Edna was a graduate of Somerton High School. She was a hairdresser and homemaker by trade.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Denver Paul Steele on December 14, 2004, son Paul Jeffrey Steele on January 22, 2020, five brothers, Frederick, Charles, Justin, Joseph, and Patrick McCort, four sisters, Mary McCort, Lucy Mansfield, Ruth Anne Wehr, and Adelaide Moore.
Surviving are her Son, James (Inez) Steele of Bellaire, two grandsons, James (Jennifer) Steele and Joseph (Heidi) Steele of Bellaire, three great-granddaughters, Olivia, Lilly and Jackie Steele, special niece, Sandra Thompson of Bellaire.
Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire, OH 43906 on Thursday November 3, 2022 from 9am until time of service at 11am with Father Daniel Heusel as celebrant. Interment to follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
