ELIZABETH “BETTY” LEWIS
Elizabeth A. “Betty” Lewis, 88 of St. Clairsville, OH formerly of Martins Ferry, OH passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Park Health Center, St. Clairsville, OH. She was born August 3, 1934, in Martins Ferry, OH a daughter of the late James and Elizabeth (Callahan) Snively.
Betty lived in Martins Ferry for most of her life, and then moved to St. Clairsville, 2015. She was a homemaker, doll and antique collector, and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Martins Ferry. In her spare time, she enjoyed volunteering for charitable activities through her church and the Salvation Army.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard E. “Dick” Lewis in 2010, brothers; Jim (Wilma) Snively, Jack (Patricia) Snively, Robert (Lida) Snively, and daughter in law Nancy (Scott) Lewis.
Surviving are her two sons; Bruce (Linda) Lewis of Bridgeport, and Scott (Nancy) Lewis of St. Clairsville, four grandchildren; Brittany, Amanda, Hannah, and Tyler Lewis, and four great-grandchildren Braylon Lewis, Adalyn and Mason Snodgrass and Riley Lewis.
Friends will be received Friday, November 11, 2022, from 4-7 at the Wilson Funeral Home – Heslop Chapel, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry, OH. Funeral Service will be Saturday, November 12, 2022, at 10am in the Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling, WV.
