MARY E. McGREW
Mary Elizabeth McGrew, 100, of Powhatan Point, Ohio, died November 12, 2022, in Country Club Retirement Center, Bellaire.
She was born in Jacobsburg, Ohio, April 27, 1922, a daughter of the late Robert Franklin Hammond Sr. and Leanna Agnes Johnson Hammond.
Mary was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of Powhatan Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Archie M. McGrew; her daughter Carolyn Goff; a sister, Betty Hammond; and two brothers, James J. Hammond and Robert F. Hammond Jr.
Mary is survived by her son, Robert G. McGrew; a son-in-law, Douglas K. Goff; a sister, Inez Caldwell; three grandchildren, Kelly Rawlins, Karen Goff and Joe McGrew; and her great grandson, Steven D. Rawlins.
Honoring Mary’s wishes, private services were held at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg, Ohio. Burial was held in Powhatan Cemetery.
