MICHAEL HURDZAN
Michael T. Hurdzan, age 65, of Lancaster, OH passed away November 11, 2022. He was born July 1, 1957 in Wheeling, WV.
He taught at Independence High School for over 30 years and Logan High School for 6 years. Michael coached football, wrestling, track, basketball and softball for many years.
Preceded in death by his mother, Elsie Hurdzan.
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Rita Hurdzan; two daughters, Samantha Hurdzan and Jessica Hurdzan; father, Mike Hurdzan; two sisters, Michelle (Patrick) Tighe and Kathy Hurdzan; two nieces, Ali and Tricia Tighe; and the extended family and friends who’ve shown great amounts of support and compassion during his passing.
Family and friends may visit 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. on Monday, November 14, and 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 15, at the Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, OH 43110. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 16 at St. Mark Catholic Church, 324 Gay St., Lancaster, OH 43130. Interment at St. Mary Cemetery, Lancaster, OH.
