MILLARD “TINY” COOPER

Millard Ward “Tiny” Cooper, 70, of Belmont, Ohio, passed away November 21, 2022.

He was born February 15, 1952, in Detroit, Michigan. He is predeceased by his father Millard Cooper, mother Mildred Weaver Cooper and 1/2 brothers Keith Cooper and Gary Cooper.

Tiny was an Optician for over 40 years, retiring from Walmart in 2012. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing and camping. From an early age he loved volunteering with various groups that supported teaching children about the outdoors. He was a member of the Tri-County Bassmasters and enjoyed being part of the fishing camps with special needs children. For the past 6 years he enjoyed teaching Hunter Safety courses to ensure outdoor safety and responsibility for future generations. He was a former member of the Belmont Volunteer Fire Department during the 80’s and 90’s as a fireman and squad driver. He enjoyed socializing with everyone at the Captina Produce Auction, and sharing his auction finds. His life was focused on spending time with family and friends, whether it was debating politics, giving advice on how to do things or just laughing and having a good time. If he gave you a hard time and teased you, you were loved.
