PHYLLIS NELMS

She was born September 3, 1934 in Bellaire ,Ohio, a daughter of the late Delmas and Elsie (Burda) Nelms

Phyllis was retired from the Switzerland of Ohio School District, where she taught for many years. She was a member of the Belmont County Retired Teachers and the Eastern Star.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Edison Nelms and sister, Delma Schmitt.

Surviving are her children, Amie (Aaron) Purman, and Thomas (Leslie) Nelms, grand- children, Whitney, Kelsey, Rachel, Michael, Abby, Katie, great- grandchildren, Aleena, Edison, Benson, Addie, Daxx and Eisley.

Private visitation and services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment to follow at Powhatan Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 3900 Central Avenue Shadyside, OH 43947.
