CHERYLL “FRANCEY” GODDARD

She was born October 1, 1945, in Hartford City, IN, daughter of the late Franklin Andrew and Yvonne Daetmyer Jackson.

Mrs. Goddard was a retired schoolteacher having taught in Red Key School and Beallsville High School where she also coached volleyball, softball and served as a cheerleading advisor. A member of the New Martinsville United Methodist Church New Martinsville, WV, where she was very active serving with the United Methodist Women, the Choir, and volunteered for numerous events.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother-in-law, Charles Rife.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Duane Goddard; a son, Andrew (Jamie) Goddard of Canal Fulton, OH; a daughter Allyson Goddard of Columbus, OH; two sisters, Gay Ann Rife of Seattle, WA and Sharon Jackson of Connersville, IN; 5 grandchildren, Jalyn (Luke VanOrsdale) Goddard, Drew Goddard, Alex Goddard, Anna Metzger and Olivia Metzger; and several nieces, nephews, family members and dear friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
