JOHN PRINCIPE, JR.

John was born in Wheeling, WV on March 23, 1946, he was the son of the late John A. and Rose (Cardullo) Principe.

He was a retired employee of the former Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Steubenville plant.

He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church; Past President and ten year secretary of the former Eagles Arie 456 of Martins Ferry; Past President M. F. Civics; Past second ward councilman, all of Martins Ferry

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by twin daughters, Jackie and Judy; brother, Patrick.

In addition to his wife, Karen (Dawson) he is survived by a son, John A. (Michelle) Principe, III, Morgantown, WV; daughter, Jennifer A. (Ben) Braddock, Leesburg, VA; sister, Janet Kalaskey, Glendale, WV; grandchildren, Hayley and Ryan Principe, Morgantown, WV; Jaidan and Samantha Braddock, Leesburg, VA; numerous nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Keller Funeral Home, 615 Hanover Street, Martins Ferry, OH, where friends will be received Friday from 2 until 8 pm.

Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Martins Ferry. at 11 am on Saturday, December 3, 2022 with Rev. Tomas Marut as the celebrant.

Interment, private at convenience of the family at Mount Calvary Cemetery Wheeling, WV.

Wake service will be held in the funeral home Friday at 7:30 pm.
