THOMAS TISHER

He was born September 13, 1954, in New Martinsville, WV, son of the late Donald and Erma (Potts) Tisher.

Tom was a retired teacher with Switzerland of Ohio Schools and Magnolia High School. He was a lifelong and devoted member of the Hannibal United Methodist Church, and was a member of the Moose Lodge 931 of New Martinsville. Tom coached girls’ basketball, with over 300 wins, and coached baseball and football.

Survivors include a brother, Timothy (Cathy) Tisher of Hannibal, OH; a nephew, Casey Tisher of Hannibal, OH; a niece Kelsie (Jacob) Schmidt of Quinton, VA: three great-nieces and -nephews, Brayden, Zoey, and Colton Schmidt.

A memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2022, from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. at the Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 751 Third St., New Martinsville with Dr. Vince Monceau officiating.

Interment at the convenience of the family.
