Doane E. Ross, Jr., 64, of Powhatan Point, Ohio passed away surrounded by family on January 10, 2023 at Shadyside Care Center.
He was born February 24, 1958 in Powhatan Point, Ohio a son of Doane Ross, Sr. and Elizabeth (Ramser) Stouffer.
Doane loved fishing, grilling, spending time with his grandchildren, and sports (especially the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Pirates, and the Ohio State Buckeyes!)
He was preceded in death by his father, Doane Ross, Sr., and son, Jedadiah Ross.
Doane is survived by his mother Elizabeth (William) Stouffer, spouse of 26 years, Rachel Roush, children, Carrie (Leonard) Wisniewski, William (Erin) Fletcher, grandchildren, Trinity, Theo, Charlee, Teddy, Xander, Frankie, and siblings, Darren (Juanita) Ross, Amity (Rick) Miller.
Arrangements are entrusted to Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home 186 Main Street, Powhatan Point, Ohio 43942.
The family is preparing a Celebration of Life in February at St. John’s U.C.G German Ridge.
