KENNY PIERPOINT

He was born on November 18, 1956, in New Martinsville, WV, to the late Ken and Eva (McKinney) Pierpoint. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Ken was retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel, Martins Ferry, and was a graduate of Buckeye South High School, Class of 1975. Ken was a Methodist by faith.

In his spare time, Ken enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates and The Ohio State Buckeyes while sitting in his favorite chair. He also was a long-time member of the Indian Club, Tiltonsville, OH, where he made life-long friends and enjoyed the many memories made with them there.

Ken is survived by his high school sweetheart of 43 years, Carolyn (Shively) Pierpoint; his son Bryan (Kristen) Pierpoint, Lance (Kayla) Pierpoint and grandchildren, Bryson and Aria Pierpoint. Also, brother Rick (Dorothy) Pierpoint, sister Vicki (Greg) Menedis and Lisa (Mike) Tolbert. His favorite mother-in-law Marlene Shively, aunts and uncles, as well as several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received to pay tribute at Ken’s memorial service on Friday, January 27, from 5-8 p.m. at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH. A celebration of life is planned at the Indian Club on Saturday, January 28, from 3-7 p.m.
