TOMMY SKALSKY
Thomas Richard “Tommy” Skalsky, 83, of Neffs, Ohio, died January 19, 2023, at East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry.
He was born March 1, 1939, in Glencoe, Ohio, a son of the late Albert M. Skalsky and Stella Christos Skalsky.
Tommy was employed at Belco-Works and was a member of the former Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He enjoyed music, playing the harmonic and organ, going to church and the Cleveland Indians. Tommy loved to give gifts at Christmas and celebrating birthdays.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Geri Skalsky and four aunts.
Tommy is survived by his sister, Jacqueline Skalsky and friend and caregivers, Sharon (Jeff) Wallace and family.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m., with Father Daniel Heusel officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to St. John’s Catholic Church in Bellaire.
