WILLIAM FORSCH
William T. Forsch 78, of Wheeling, passed away Monday, January 2, 2023, at Peterson Nursing Home, Wheeling due to complications of COVID 19, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born December 5, 1944, in Wheeling, a son of the late Charles and Gertrude (Nicholson) Forsch.
He was retired from Shoemaker coal mine with 37 years of service, a member of St. Vincent’s Catholic Church Wheeling, and an Army veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Charles William Forsch; two sisters, Rita Smith, and Charlene Pausakowski.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Lucille “Lucy” Ann (Rushman) Forsch; a daughter, Holley (Joseph) Bossell of Columbus; a son, Michael Forsch of St. Clairsville; one grandson, Corey Bossell; and his bird, “Rascal.”
Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Road, Brookside, on Wednesday January 4, 2023, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., where services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. with Fr. Carlos Melocoton officiating, interment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Wheeling. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Salvation Army.
