HARRIETT WHITELY
Harriett Eileen Whiteley, 86, of Quaker City passed away on February 18, 2023 at Emerald Point in Barnesville. She was born on October 19, 1936 in Hendrysburg, Ohio to the late Lester and Della (Wesley) Neuhart.
Harriett was a happy pig farmer and enjoyed gardening. She loved reading her Bible and was a member of the Fairview United Methodist Church. She cherished Sunday dinners with her family and hanging out with her dogs, Andy was one of her favorites.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband and fellow farmer, Charles Whiteley; son, John Whiteley; and brother, Clyde Neuhart.
Harriett was survived by her daughter, Jean (Brian) Roe; son, James Whiteley; daughter-in-law, Jackie Dingey; grandchildren; Katie (Justin) Addington, Kameron (Brianna) Roe, Austin Dooley, Matthew Dooley; great-grandchildren, Blaze, Jordyn, Jason, Sophi, and Lydia and many foster grandchildren; and special friends, Millie Colegrove and Paul Steele.
Friends and family are encouraged to visit Thursday, February 23, 2023 from 11am to 1pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, Barnesville Chapel, 702 East Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio 43713. The funeral service will be at 1pm with Pastor Clayton Coffey officiating. Burial will follow to the Pisgah Cemetery in Quaker City.
