JUDITH THOMAS

She was born on March 20, 1943, the daughter of the late Edwin and Sivila (Morgan) Edmunds. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John.

She was a graduate of Martins Ferry High School and Ohio University. Judy was a kindergarten teacher before becoming a mother.

She was a member of the Covenant Presbyterian Church in Harrisville, OH. She previously was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Martins Ferry, where she was active in the handbell choir, adult choir and taught Sunday School.

Judith is survived by, daughter, Stacey (Barry) Hall of Adena, OH; son, Casey (Belinda Arnold) Thomas of Port Washington, OH; sister, Linda Foose of Martins Ferry; grandchildren, Christian (Amanda) of Apopka, FL, Madison (Jack) of St. Clairsville, Rylee of Adena, Shelby of Martins Ferry, Ella of Adena, Jaden of Port Washington, Crystal (CJ) of Adena, Stephen (Carli) of Clay,WV, Lauren of Freeport, OH, Natalie (Jeff) of Piedmont, OH, Jessica of New Albany, OH; numerous great-grand children, and two very special “grandchildren”, Cameron and Alyssa.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday March 4th, 2023 at 2:00 PM at the Covenant Presbyterian Church in Harrisville, OH.
