ILA TURNER

She was born June 9, 1931 in Clarington, OH on Krebs Hill Road, the daughter of the late Harry and Frieda Bauer Roth, Sr.

Ila was a member of Duffy Church of Christ, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and staying busy doing her yardwork.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Foy R. Turner; a son, Jim Turner; a brother, Harry Roth, Jr.; and a sister, Elvira Datkuliak.

Survivors include two sons, Gene (Penny) Turner of Clarington, OH and Mike (Monica) Turner of West Jefferson, OH; a daughter in law, Julia Turner of Clarington; four grandchildren, Cari (Richard) Russell of Bettendorf, IA, Eric (Devery) Turner of Columbus, OH, Danielle (Cody) Thomas of Pickerington, OH and Annie Turner of Mineral Wells, WV; seven great grandchildren and one on the way and several nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Grisell Funeral Home & Crematory, 125 Clarinda Drive, Clarington, OH where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11am with Evang. Greg Yost officiating.

Interment in Clarington Cemetery, Clarington, OH.
