PHYLLIS COFFMAN
Phyllis J. Coffman, 91, was graduated to God’s eternal glory on January 27, 2023, at her home in New Carlisle, OH. She was born in Martins Ferry, OH on December 30, 1931 to Elmer J. Coffman and Edith McCue Kelham. She was a graduate of Martins Ferry High School. Phyllis was involved in the food concession business with her friend, Lora Dinnen, for 40 years. With two concession wagons, they traveled to fairs and festivals all over Ohio. In more recent years, they scaled down to one food truck and stayed within the counties closest to their home. Phyl was an avid sports fan and particularly loved the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Golden State Warriors.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death in 2019 by her companion of 48 years, Lora Lee “Denny” Dinnen. She is survived by her cousin Judy (Fritz) Bennett and family; Special friend and caregiver, Kristi Smith and sons; and longtime friend Sarah Stallsmith.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, March 3rd at 11:30 am at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, Donnelsville OH, with Rev. David Donathan officiating.
