SHANE CALOVINI
Ronald Shane “The Rookie” Calovini, 34, of Lafferty, OH passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023 at his home. He was born May 28, 1988 in Wheeling, WV., a son of Ronald A. Calovini and the late Tammy Sue Juriga.
Shane was a former Salesman for Thomas Dodge Jeep of St. Clairsville and a Catholic by faith. His mentor was Bill D. Dixon of Hazzard, KY., He was a professional motorcycle stunt rider with sponsors from Starboyz and Bike Style’s of Cleveland, OH and Spastic Designs of Pittsburgh, PA.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ronald and Helen Calovini.
Surviving are his father, Ronald A. (Darla Michael) Calovini of Grimes, IA; two brothers, Tyler Calovini and Joshua Kelly; his maternal grandparents, Chuck Juriga and Kathleen Angle; several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 2-8 pm at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville with funeral services on Friday at 11 am with Fr. David Cornett officiating. Burial will follow in Gates of Heaven Cemetery, Lafferty.
Memorial contributions may be made to Toothman Funeral Home to assist the family with final expenses.
