Wilda Mable Persinger, 104, of Powhatan Point, Ohio; passed away March 5, 2023 at the Shadyside Care Center.
She was born June 20, 1918 in Bellaire, Ohio to the late Jesse and Mable (Mason) Sims.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sisters, Florence (Charles) Winters, Marjorie (Harley) Landers; and her husband of 50 years, Hugh Edgar Persinger.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Mancy Jo (Manuel) Sapon and her son, Donald Hugh (Martha) Persinger.
She is survived by her son, Phillip (Roberta) Persinger of Valrico, Florida.
She also leaves behind 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grand children.
Wilda was a member of the Powhatan Church of The Nazarene. She was known for her great cooking, gardening, needlework, and hospitality.
Memorial services and celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
