WILMA NELSON

She was born September 29, 1925 in Bellaire, OH a daughter of the late Vera (Kirkland) McAllister and Harry McAllister.

Wilma was a member of the Rock Hill Presbyterian Church, Bellaire, OH where she had served as the Choir Director for many years. She was a retired Secretary at the Neffs Elementary School and a former Bookkeeper for Hanna Coal Co. Along with her love of music she was an avid reader of all genres, cookbooks, maps, histories, fiction, and anything on The British Royals.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 57 years, Donald E. Nelson; a daughter, Eileen Taylor; a brother, Robert McAllister; and a sister, Lois Rogers.

Surviving are her Son, Jeff (Susan) Nelson of Bellaire; Sister, Phyllis Coleman of Florida; Grandson, Jeff Nelson, Jr.; Granddaughter, Amanda Rossbach; Great- grandchildren, Austin Roe, RB Roe, Connar Rossbach; and several Nieces and Nephews.

Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire, OH 43906 on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. then on Wednesday May 3,2023 at the Rock Hill Presbyterian Church, Bellaire, OH from 9:00 am until time of service at 10:00 am Church with Rev. Reverend David Demarest officiating. Interment will follow at Rock Hill Cemetery Bellaire,OH.
