BARBARA DALEY

She was born March 16, 1935 in St. Clairsville, a daughter of the late Bertrand and Nettie Mae Jones Hughes.

Barb was retired from Rich’s Quick Print in Wheeling and Moundsville, WV, and a member of Bannock United Methodist Church. She was a former 4H Leader of the Wetzel Springs Club and former member of St. Clairsville American Legion Post 159 Auxiliary.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bert L. Daley Jr. in 2006; an infant brother, David Allen Hughes; six brothers and sisters, George, Wayne, Richard Hughes, Virginia Taylor, Vivian Cuiksa and Betty Lou Thomas.

Surviving are her children, Gina (Donald) Marinucci of Flushing, OH, Shelly Wiggins of St. Clairsville, Holly (Larry) Janiszewski of Lansing, OH and Marcy Taylor of Raleigh, NC; a sister, Gloria Jean Paxton of Bannock, OH; six grandchildren, Toni Marinucci, Erin (Chris Clarkston) Scott, Dustin (Laura) Marinucci, Bryan (Tiffany) Mularcik, Timothy (Samantha) Mularcik and Cassie (Erik Costello) Wiggins; nine great grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. with George Shaffer officiating. Burial will follow in Belmont County Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
