JAMES CHRISTMAN
James Cletus Christman, 94, of Barnesville passed away peacefully at his home on June 26, 2023. He was born on October 10, 1928, a son to the late Harry and Golda (Slack) Christman.
James was a US Army Veteran. He was a business owner and enjoyed working with his wife at Christman Heating and Plumbing, Jim’s Station Service, and Country Folks Crafts. He enjoyed fishing, farming, woodworking, playing cards and doing word puzzles.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nina Maude (Dunfee) Christman; and siblings, Clesson Christman, Donald Christman, and Zelda Roughbah.
Left to cherish his memory are daughters, Jeanette (Art) Mengon, Susan (Dave) Cook, Pamela (Steve) Morlan; grandchildren, Jessica (Jesse) Wershing, Trevor Morlan, Ryan Cook (Katelyn Sheftick), Adam (Catie) Mengon, Jordan Morlan, Justin (Haley) Mengon; great-grand- children, Alex and Katie Wershing, Rayland Cook, Harrison & Oliver Mengon; sisters, Mary Stephens, Bertha Tucker, Sylvia Miser, and Barbara Morgan.
Friends and family are encouraged to visit on Friday, June 30, 2023 from 4-8pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, 702 E. Main St, Barnesville, Ohio 43713. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 11am at the funeral home with Derrick Stephen officiating. Burial will follow at the Boston Cemetery.
