NICK ZANKE

He was born May 27, 1947, in Wheeling, WV, a son of the late Catherine (Rhodebarger) and Albert Zanke.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Tessa Zanke and Keve Zanke.

Surviving are his loving wife of 43 years, Dorene Ferrari Zanke; and daughters, Krenna (Dave) Allender, Bria (Steve) Curry, Missy (Darin) McCoy, Cari (David) Ice, and Amy Busic. He was the proud grandfather of nine grandchildren, EmmaGrace Koch, Ella & Taya Allender, Payton, Preston & Brynlee Curry, Jackson & Maggie McCoy and Madison Ice. Nick is also survived by his brother, Albert (Lynne) Zanke; sister, Patricia (Jay) Carey; and many nieces and nephews, along with his special furry friend, “Bailey”.

Nick was a 1965 graduate of St. John’s Central High School and a member of St. John Catholic Church in Bellaire, OH. He was a retired member of Plumbers & Steamfitters Local 83 in Wheeling, WV, and an avid fan of the WVU Mountaineers, the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers.

A Remembrance Mass will be held on June 28th at the St. John Catholic Church in Bellaire, OH at 11:00 AM with Fr. Dan Heusel officiating.
