SHIRLEY KAIKIS
Shirley R. Kaikis, 88, of Surfside Beach, SC, formerly of Martins Ferry, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2023, in the Grand Strand Medical Center, Myrtle Beach. She was born on February 1, 1935, in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of the late Delmas and Helen (Wright) Dunning. Shirley was Christian by faith and an Avid artist and crafter. She was also an avid supporter of the ASPCA.
She is survived by her son, John (Tracy) Kaikis; five grandchildren, Nicole (Ryan) Oesch, Zachary (Shannon) Kaikis, Tristan Kaikis, Spencer Kaikis, and Jackson Kaikis; and a great grandson, Tegon Kozak.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, John Kaikis in 2003.
Friends may call Tuesday from 11-1 in the Wilson Funeral Home, Heslop Chapel, 415 Walnut St., Martins Ferry. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 pm in the funeral home with Reverend James Hoff officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
