ELEANOR EILEEN DUNFEE

She was born February 9, 1933 in Powhatan Point, Ohio, a daughter of the late Carl L. and Esther Sailer Dunfee. Along with her parents, Eileen was preceded in death by her loving sister, Alice Dunfee.

Eileen retired as a professional secretary from Conalco where she started as an employee of Olin Matheson Corporation when it began operations in Hannibal, Ohio. She was a lifetime member of the First Presbyterian Church of Powhatan where she served in various church capacities. As a board member of The Powhatan Cemetery Association, she served over 50 years as its secretary/ treasurer.

She is survived by a special surrogate daughter, Pamela Stottlemyer Hartley and her husband, Ronald L. Hartley of Bellaire, Ohio and surrogate grandsons Nicholas (Christy Williams) Hartley of Columbus, Ohio and Adam (Natasha) Hartley of Shadyside, Ohio; her beloved surrogate great-grand daughters, Amira, Reina, Frankie and Liza along with many loving cousins.

Family and friends will be received at the First Presbyterian Church, 100 Carrie Street Powhatan Point, Ohio on Saturday July 15th from 10:00 AM until time of the service at 1:00 PM with Sheila “Pixie” Boltz and Lee Biles officiating. Interment will follow at The Powhatan Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff at Forest Hills who have cared for Eileen for the past 2 years and also Amedisys Hospice Care.
