GERALD “JAKE” McFARLAND
Gerald “Jake” Patrick McFarland, age 73 of Bellaire, OH died Thursday, June 29, 2023 in Wheeling Hospital Medical Park, Wheeling, WV.
He was born March 8, 1950 in Philippi, WV the son of the late Leonard and Virginia Parson McFarland.
He was a US Army Veteran; a retired coal miner; and he enjoyed fishing and computers.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Linda, Mary, Lenny, Sid and Norma.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara McFarland; two daughters, Tammi Bowman and Sherri McFarland; two step- daughters, Crystal (Jeff) Kelner and Tammy (Jack) Doyle; grandchildren, Shayla McFarland, Noah McFarland, Cecelia Kelner, Vance Kelner, Patrick Doyle, and Rayna Doyle; siblings, Jackie (Dwight) Newell, Barbara “Mickey” McFarland, and Cecil (Freda) Lake; and several nieces and nephews.
Private services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
